1. Acceptance of Terms

By engaging the services of Akash Translogistics ("the Company", "we", "our", "us"), you ("the Client", "you") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms govern all logistics, warehousing, transportation and supply chain services provided by us.

2. Quotations and Pricing

• All quotations are valid for 7 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.
• Prices are subject to change based on fuel surcharges, toll charges, seasonal demand and government levies.
• Final invoiced amounts may vary from initial estimates based on actual weight, volume, or route changes.
• All prices are exclusive of GST unless explicitly mentioned.

3. Booking and Shipment

• Bookings are confirmed only upon written acknowledgement from our team.
• The Client is responsible for accurate declaration of cargo type, weight, volume and value.
• Akash Translogistics reserves the right to refuse or return shipments that differ materially from declared specifications.

4. Delivery Timelines

• Estimated delivery timelines are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed unless explicitly agreed in writing.
• Delays caused by force majeure events (natural disasters, government restrictions, strikes, road closures) are beyond our liability.
• The Client shall not hold Akash Translogistics liable for consequential losses arising from delivery delays.

5. Cargo Insurance

• Cargo insurance is optional and must be requested at the time of booking.
• If insurance is not availed, the Client bears the full risk of cargo loss or damage in transit.
• Insurance claims are subject to the terms of the insurance provider.

6. Liability

• Akash Translogistics' liability for loss or damage to goods is limited to the value declared at the time of booking, or Rs. 50,000 per shipment, whichever is lower.
• We are not liable for normal transit wear, minor cosmetic damage, or loss due to improper packaging by the Client.
• Claims must be raised in writing within 7 days of delivery.

7. Payment Terms

• Payment is due within 30 days of invoice date unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Late payments are subject to 1.5% monthly interest.
• We reserve the right to suspend services for overdue accounts.

8. Warehousing

• Warehouse storage is provided on a per pallet/per sq ft basis as agreed in the service contract.
• The Client retains ownership of stored goods; Akash Translogistics acts as a bailee.
• Goods must be insured by the Client for their full replacement value during storage.
• Minimum storage period: 7 days. Early termination of storage requires 7 days' written notice.

9. Cancellation

• Cancellations made before pickup incur no charges.
• Cancellations after pickup but before dispatch: 50% of quoted amount.
• Cancellations after dispatch: Full quoted amount is payable.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Thane, Maharashtra.
